Abstract

An approach to c.a.a.d. systems design directed at housing site layout is presented. This refers to user interests, the distinction between real and generic layout proposals, and the generation of three-dimensional information. The systems strategy is outlined in terms of input options, description of design elements, and storage of layout geometry. The resulting system is described by reference to its operating procedure and its design functions.
