Abstract

Consumption is the most significant part of our daily life. How individuals as consumers purchase different things, goods and/or services is called consumption behavior of the households. The study has analyzed the consumption behavior of households in Pakistan using the recent cross-sectional data of HIES 2013-14. The study also checked the validity of Engel’s law in case of Pakistan. The results confirm the existence of Engel’s law in case of Pakistan.
