Abstract
This paper presents the House of EcoLean model, a framework that combines environmental sustainability with lean management principles and addresses the growing urgency of sustainable production in the wake of global warming and climate change. The model responds to the need for enhancing resource efficiency while maintaining economic efficiency in an environmentally conscious market. The model synthesizes findings from the literature on synergies and challenges inherent in combining Lean and Green practices. It integrates Lean management methods, known for reducing waste and improving efficiency, with Green practices aimed at minimizing environmental impacts. This approach results in a synergy where operational efficiency is achieved alongside environmental responsibility. However, existing literature reveals a gap in comprehensive, systematic models for implementing Lean and Green practices effectively. Therefore, the House of EcoLean model aims to fill this gap by providing a structured framework for organizations.
