Abstract

Energy consumption analyses and solar building construction require detailed information on solar radiation at specific sites. For the first time this information is available through the National Bureau of Standards (NBS).Average day hourly solar radiation data for 80 locations at eight different orientations is available in NBS publication building science series 96, Hourly Solar Radiation Data for Vertical and Horizontal Surfaces on Average Days in the United States and Canada, S.D. stock 003‐003‐01698‐5 from the U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C. 20402. The cost is $4.65.
