Abstract

Due to the growth of the aviation sector parallel to the pursuit of quality by the hotel industry, this study highlights the positioning of crew members of a Brazilian airline regarding the different services provided for them. The main objective of this study was to demonstrate the quality of the hotel services offered to a specific airline vy some Brazilian northeast capitals. There was a requirement to raise the standards of hosting set by regulatory aviation bodies; to point out differentiated services offered by hotels to the crew members; and to gauge the level of satisfaction with these services. This work is an exploratory case study wotrking with the literature and through fieldwork, with a questionnaire as the research tool. The results showed that the researched hotels follow the established regulatory standards, satisfying the majority of the crew members; although areas of improvement have been identified.
