Abstract

The authors consider the effect of molecular impurities on the kinetic characteristics of electrons in non-polar liquids. A straightforward similarity law is proposed in the framework of the Lekner-Cohen theory (1967) that makes it possible to estimate the effect of the impurities on the drift velocities as well as on the characteristic and mean energies of electrons in liquids with additions, provided that the foregoing characteristics in pure molecular gases are known.
