Abstract

In this work, the hot deformation behavior of SLM 718 alloy pre-precipitated with δ phase was studied by uniaxial compression test, and the microstructure evolution of the alloys was analyzed in detail by back-scattered electron contrast (BSE), electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that the deformation parameters have a significant effect on the flow behavior of the alloys. The influence of deformation parameters on DRX volume fraction and DRX grain has certain difference. Due to the δ phase hindrance, dislocations will accumulate near δ phase during deformation, resulting in fracture and bending of δ phase. The stacking dislocation can be transformed into subgrains and formed the DRX grains by rotation.
