Abstract

Purpose: 1) To describe the rates of readmission and patient characteristics of CDH neonates who were readmitted after their index hospital visit and 2) To examine the risk of admission for morbidities among CDH neonates. Background: Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) survivors may suffer long-term morbidities, such as respiratory, neurological, and gastrointestinal diseases. Few have studied the risk of readmission for those morbidities among CDH survivors after initial hospital discharge at a national level.
