Abstract

Catecholamines are essential hormones for exercise. Metabolism and secretion of catecholamines may be altered by exercise training. Vasoregulation may also be affected by neuropeptides (VIP, SP) and endorphins. Hormonal adaptations to exercise may be useful in developing strategies for treating vascular disease.
