Abstract
Abstract The paper acquaints you with honeypots as a tool for security related research. The list and characteristics of several selected honeypot solutions is showed. The results of practical experiments accomplished at University of Defence are presented, including appropriate graphs and tables. Keywords: MENTAL, Network Enabled Capability, security, honeypot.
