Abstract

The assembly of linear edges and triangle nodes in a 3 : 2 molar ratio possibly forms a honeycomb topology: this was achieved by the use of paddlewheel-type dimetal complexes and 2,4,6-tris(4-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine, in which the framework with a very large mesh of 39 × 29 Å diameters was stabilized by π-stacked coronene molecules.
