Abstract

This article deals with the Sakiadis flow of thixotropic fluid under the effect of inclined Lorentz force and Newtonian heating. The homotopy analysis method (HAM) is applied to solve the nonlinear governing equations and corresponding boundary conditions. In order to optimize the given series, the average squared residual errors are minimized, and the admissible values of auxiliary parameters are obtained. It can be seen that the HAM findings are in line with those of earlier studies. The results show that the surface temperature is highly affected by the Prandtl number. Moreover, the momentum boundary layer thickness depends on the electromagnetic force.
