Abstract

Abstract In this chapter we would like to present a systematic study of the fixed point theory for multivalued maps by using homological methods. Homological methods were initiated in 1946 by S. Eilenberg and D. Montgomery in their celebrated paper [EM]. Using methods of homology we can obtain stronger results than those obtained by means of the approximation methods as used in Chapter III. Hence in this chapter the results will be formulated in a more general form than previously.
