Abstract

Abstract Procedures yielding an analytically pure boronic ester as a white solid and an analytically pure diol as an off‐white solid are presented. Following the procedures are notes on the instruments and chemicals used and required. The chapter concludes with a discussion on epoxides as versatile building blocks and homologation of boronic esters.
