Abstract
The casting ZK60 magnesium alloy was homogenized by different methods, and the best homogenization method was determined by observing the metallography. The stress and strain curves of casting ZK60 magnesium alloy after homogenization were obtained by hot a compression experiment. The thermal processing map of peak stress was drawn by the stress-strain curve, and by the analysis of the thermal processing map could distinguish the processing instability zone and safe zone of the casting ZK60 magnesium alloy.
