Abstract
MaterialspresentinganegativePoisson'sratio(auxetics)havedrawnattentionforthepasttwodecades,especiallyinthefieldoflightweightcompositestructuresandcellularmaterials.Studieshaveshownthatauxeticitymayresultinhighershearmodulus,fracturetoughnessandacousticdamping.Inthiswork,threeauxeticperiodiclatticesareconsidered.Elasticmoduliarecomputedandanisotropyisinvestigatedbytheuseoffiniteelementmethodcombinedwithnumericalhomogenizationtechnique.
