Abstract

Herein, we reported a homochiral metal-organic frameworks (HMOF) [Nd3(D-cam)8(H2O)4Cl]n and prepared four novel chiral stationary phases (CSPs) in which two CSPs were fabricated by interfacial polymerization (IP). Some analytes were used to evaluate the separation performance of the two CSPs packed column. Moreover, the two CSPs also were tested under normal phase (NP), reverse phase (RP) and polar organic phase (POP) chromatography conditions and showed high column efficiency and selectivity especially for α-amino acids. Which seventeen and thirteen racemates were separated by the two CSPs (CSP-1, CSP-2). In contrast, only five and eight chiral compounds were separated in the CSP-3 and CSP-4, respectively. The experimental results showed that the HMOF [Nd3(D-cam)8(H2O)4Cl]n based novel CSPs possessed of good recognition ability for chiral separation in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
