Abstract

The present study has allowed us to determine the existence of the following psychic attributes in a high percentage of those managers who can be labelled homo reticularis, that is those working in postmodern organizations (organizations with a reticular structure and a participative management style): (1) primary of the ego ideal, (2) overriding need to please, (3) anguish of object loss, (4) latent feeling of unworthiness, (5) latent symptom of depression, and (6) split object.
