Abstract
En su obra maestra, Verdad y Método, Gadamer busca resolver la fractura entre el ser y la verdad, producida en la modernidad por la primacía de la auto-conciencia y el cientificismo. Gadamer encuentra en el lenguaje (logos) el fundamento último para la correspondencia del finito intelecto humano y el ser, sin estar forzado a regresar a la clásica afirmación metafísica que sostiene que Dios es el fundamento de la adaequatio rei et intellectus. Para Gadamer, el hombre y el mundo están inseparablemente entrelazados en el lenguaje. Como consecuencia, dentro del logos toda diferencia ontológica desaparece, disolviendo el ser del hombre en el infinito devenir histórico del protagonista real: el lenguaje.
