Abstract
We prove that every non-constant holomorphic mapeM&/em&⊂g,p&/sub&→ eM&/em&⊂& g',p'&/sub& between moduli spaces of Riemann surfaces is a forgetful map, provided that g ≥ 6 and g' ≤ 2g-2.
