Abstract
We briefly review a holography of non-relativistic (NR) string on AdS 5× S 5. The NR string can be regarded as a semiclassical string around an AdS2 classical solution corresponding to a straight Wilson line in the gauge-theory side. Exciting non-normalizable modes of the NR string gives source term insertions on the Wilson line. For normalizable modes we discuss a relation to a conformal quantum mechanics.
