Abstract

The holographic quantum critical (QC) response from 6 derivative theory is studied in this paper. We find that once the higher derivative (HD) terms are introduced, to fit quantum Monte Carlo (QMC) data from O(2) quantum critical phase (QCP), a rescaling for any Δ is needed. Also, we study the real frequency conductivity. We find that the scalar profile dual to the relevant operator has more evident effect on both the low frequency and the intermediate frequency than the scalar profile dual to the irrelevant operator. Finally, we study the electromagnetic (EM) duality. We confirm the robustness that the irrelevant operator help to the particle-vortex duality holds more well with the change of the sign of the coupling parameter.
