Abstract

AbstractHolographic recording has advantages over other techniques of information storage in that a means is provided for reconstructing amplitude and phase distributions, for reconstructing three dimensional images, and for presenting differential effects resulting from the interaction of situations which did not exist simultaneously.Examples are given of the use of holography as an intermediate step in photographic recording. Two examples are also included of the possibility of making and using holograms with only simple means.
