Abstract

The potential energy of 3He and 4He nuclei has been studied using the AdS/CFT correspondence. We consider a holographic picture for 3He and 4He nuclei and obtained their potentials using the holographic nucleon–nucleon potential. Then we calculate the binding energies of the nuclei by these potentials. Also, we obtain the energy of some excited states for the 4He nucleus. Similar calculations show that there is no excited state for the 3He nucleus. Our results are in good agreement with the experimental data.
