Abstract

AbstractIt is shown that with a heterodyne beat apparatus a continuous measurement of the dielectric constant can be made. An electrode arrangement, suitable for measurements in small quantities of solution (1 ml) is described. The corrections that have to be applied are given. Examples illustrate the accuracy that can be obtained for measurements of the dielectric constant and increment, and for dielectric titrations.
