Abstract

Summary The brush discharge induced by a rectified high-frequency source on a nickel point can be used as a spectral source if it is supplied with an atomized solution of the sample through a co-axial stream of air. The sensitivity of this source is compared with that of the flame for thirteen elements. The uniformity of the source was tested for BaCl 2 and found to be satisfactory.
