Abstract

From C Fund Conf Corre D M A 46-year-old man presented with hoarseness and multiple papules, plaques, and nodules on the face, oral mucosa, and extensor surfaces (Figs 1 and 2). He reported that these lesions had appearedwhen he was a child. An excisional biopsy specimen was obtained, and it revealed a homogeneous eosinophilic material distributed in the papillary dermis with deposition of an amorphous or laminated material around blood vessels and in the connective tissue (Fig 3). The deposits were periodic acideSchiffpositive and diastase-resistant.
