Abstract
Updated line parameters for the HNO 3 v 9, v 6, v 7, v 8, v 8 + v 9, v 2, v 3 v 4 , and v 5 2v 9 are reviewed. Simulations generated with the new line parameters are presented and compared with high-resolution atmospheric and laboratory spectra. Discussion of ongoing studies and needs for further improvements are included.
