Abstract

Electrostatic discharge (ESD) generator is the key equipment of ESD immunity test, and the discharge circuit is the core of the equipment. The circuit component parameters and distributed parameters have great influence on the performance of the device, which brings a certain difficulty to the design of discharge circuit. In order to study the effect of circuit component parameters on the discharge current, a double RLC electrical structure of the human body-metal model (HMM) is used to construct an ESD circuit. Corresponding differential equation group, which are used to describe the ESD circuit, are computed and analyzed by means of Adams Prediction-Correction Method. Through the necessary circuit parameters adjustment and simulation analysis, the current generated by the circuit is up to the standard.
