Abstract

The H ∞ output tracking control for networked control systems (NCSs) subject to network-induced short time delays is investigated in this study. Designing the tracking controller makes the physical plant output track model reference signal, and meets the given H ∞ output tracking performance. First, the exponential uncertainties are transformed into the sum of the nominal terms and the norm-bounded uncertainties by the robust control technique, the augmented system is established by combining the physical plant and the reference model. Then, the sufficient conditions for the H ∞ tracking performance and the tracking controller design method of the augmented system are given by adopting the Lyapunov method and the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In the end, The effectiveness of the tracking controller design method is verified by numerical examples.
