Abstract

Immune dysregulation has been widely observed in those with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Genetic variation in the Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) locus shapes the immune response and may contribute to psychiatric disorders. This study investigated regulation of common HLA alleles in relation to PTSD.
