Abstract

In this article analyzes the issue of greening around the roads in the 1950s-80s of the 20th century in the Bukhara region, which is considered to be the driest and waterless region of Uzbekistan, close to desert climate, along with the planting of various plants in order to prevent the erosion of sand, landslides, dug ditches and canals. Also, in the article, issues related to the care of these seedlings are comparatively studied and analyzed based on periodical press and archival materials.
