Abstract

In this paper, the author present a biography of the electrical engineer Benjamin Garver Lamme. Lamme (1864-1324) spent most of his life working for Westinghouse Electric and was Chief Engineer of Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company from 1903 until his death in 1924. He was born January 12, 1864, on a farm near Springfield, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University in 1888 with the degree of Mechanical Engineer, and joined Westinghouse May 1, 1889.
