Historiographic analysis of Leslie White's critique of the concept of culture in Russian literature

Abstract

The article analyzes the criticism of the conceptual developments of Leslie white's theory of culture in Russian literature. The author, being an investigator of the theory of the evolutionary development of cultural processes, enters into a correspondence polemic with famous figures of the Humanities, appealing to the words of white, as well as on the basis of his own observations and conclusions.
