Abstract

The research article discusses in detail the historical and development stages of radio broadcasting in the Kazakh language in the international information space. Today it is important to make a comparative study of the emergence and formation of radio stations in foreign media, the impact of Kazakh-language information on the political and ideological situation in Kazakhstan. The article draws attention to the experience of international broadcasters such as the BBC, Voice of America, and German Wave in the  Kazakh-language broadcasting system, and argues that RFE / RL, which opened the way to Central Asia, was a leader in shaping the country’s democracy. The historical and development stages of radio broad- casting in the Kazakh language in the international information space are analyzed and the main features are identified. The scientific novelty of the article is the functional analysis of international radio in the protection of national emigration, resistance to colonialism, as well as the global transformation of national free- dom and democratic society. The methods of revealing the socio-political content of the information of Beijing and Xinjiang radio stations in China, which broadcast in the Kazakh language during the Soviet era, will be evaluated. In addition, Kazakh broadcasts from the Bayan-Ulgei region of Mongolia, Iran and Turkey, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will be scientifically analyzed. The Kazakh-language broad- casting system of the local FM radio channel «Voice of Turkey» will be studied. Attention is paid to the purpose of international radio to increase the local content of the broadcast in order to be closer to its audience. Features of the information about Kazakhstan in the Kazakh edition of the «Voice of Turkey» radio are described. The article presents the scientific conclusions of the study of radio broadcasts in the Kazakh lan- guage in the international information space through the methods of selection, analysis, synthesis of its practical structure.
