Abstract

Histoplasmosis of Larynx is a very rare anomaly and is usually not seen in an immunocompetent indivual. We present to you a case of 50 year old male, who came to our OPD with complaint of hoarseness of voice. Due to its high probability of mimicking the symptoms of laryngeal carcinoma, differential diagnosis of fungal laryngitis should always be kept in mind. Timely intervention with right diagnosis has very good prognosis in patients with histoplamosis.
