Abstract

Cyanide is a potent and lethal poison which uncouples oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria. We describe a case due to massive cyanide poisoning resulting in a type 1 Brugada ECG pattern, with full resolution as cyanide levels decreased and histopathology Keywords: Brugada syndrome; cyanide; poisoning; histopathology; endocardium; epicardium.
