Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the histological structure of uterus of the kintamani dogs on the sexual maturity period. In this study using five samples of uterine organs of the kintamani dog. The tissue were taken from corpus of the uterine. The histological structure was observed using hematoxylin-eosin (HE). Identification of the histological structure of uterus observed with a microscope at 100x and 400x magnification. The results showed the endometrial lining consisted a single layer of the columnar epithelium and lamina propria with tubular glands, myometrium consisted of smooth muscle and perimetrium with connective tissue, nerves and blood vessels

Summary
Anatomi dan histologi sistem reproduksi selain dipengaruhi oleh status reproduksi (prepubertas, pubertas) juga dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti lingkungan, temperatur, dan nutrisi yang diberikan. Sekresi hormon estrogen dan progesteron mempengaruhi intergritas struktur oviduk, uterus dan vagina. Kedua hormon tersebut mengatur pertumbuhan, proliferasi, dan fungsi sekresi dari sel epitel saluran reproduksi. Kadar estrogen yang tinggi dalam darah juga menyebabkan hyperplasia sel-sel epitel dan muskulus yang menyusun organ vagina (Banda-Herrera et al, 2014). Pengetahuan dan informasi ilmiah berupa data nyata yang dipuplikasikan mengenai sistem reproduksi anjing kintamani sampai saat ini masih sangat minim bahkan belum ada. Informasi ini sangat diperlukan dan penting digunakan sebagai dasar untuk melakukan studi baik pre klinis maupun klinis. Pengetahuan yang baik mengenai sistem reproduksi memungkinkan untuk melakukan atau menerapkan teknik-teknik baru dibidang reproduksi seperti menerapkan teknik super ovulasi dan embryo transfer (Skidmore et al, 1998).
