Abstract
Germ cell tumors (GCTs) are unique in their ability to differentiate along multiple cell lineages. The strong association between primary mediastinal non-seminomatous germ cell tumors and hematologic malignancies is well known. The most common hematologic neoplasms seen with GCTs are acute megakaryoblastic leukemia and histiocytic sarcoma.
