Abstract

RATIONALE: Histamine is an important inflammatory mediator and is increased in the skin of atopic dermatitis patients. As the role of the novel histamine 4 receptor in atopic dermatitis has not been examined, we used a TH2 and IgE dependent mouse model of dermatitis to elicit the role of H4R in inflammation and itch.
