Abstract

The history of the United States of America is one of the disciplines worthy of study, due to what the history of this country contains of important events and developments in all political, economic and social levels and the repercussions of these events not only on the United States itself but also on the external level as well. American policy was taken after the civil war In 1861-1865, a different policy, after the unification of its northern and southern states was achieved, had established good relations and a peaceful foreign policy with many countries of the world, and therefore President Hayes wanted to pursue that policy based on non-escalation and relative calm in the relations of the United States of America with most countries almost the world.
