Abstract

Colleges and universities frequently find themselves on the receiving end of accusations of gender bias in internal Title IX proceedings. Many cases alleging gender bias highlight public pressure on the institution (typically from the student body or a government entity) to respond aggressively to complaints of sexual assault by male students.
