Abstract

Extended cartometrical studies of hipothetical structure on space of Republic of Macedonia and redistribution of the spaces, according to zones of height of 100 m, is permanently increasing from 46 to 700 m, and permanently decreasing beyond that height. On the contrary, population inventories from 1961. and 1981. showed deviations which are closely dependet to presence of large number of urban populations in the examined hipsometrical zone. Accordint to relief classes, plains are the most populated (which comprehend 20,3% and are populated with 61,8% in 1%1. and 72,6% in 1981.), then hills and mountain spaces. This fact is confirmed with data for apsolute density of population which in 1961. is increasing for the plains, stagnate with decreasing tendency in hill spaces, and strongly decreases in mountain spaces in relation to 1981. inventory.
