Abstract

The relative transition probability for beta decay of 1 + states in odd-mass nucleides to the first even-mass 2 + state with respect to the ground state transition was calculated in the framework of the microscopic description. The calculation was performed in the following three regions: GaSr (p 3 2 − p 1 2 ), RhIn (g 9 2 − g 7 2 ) and Sb-Nd (d 5 2 − d 3 2 ) . It was found that the well-known retardation phenomenon of the transition to the phonon state can be explained fairly well with this model.
