Abstract

The integrative controller is the core component of the parallel-series HEV (PSHEV). It realizes the power management and integrative control by running the control strategy and driving the actuators. In the conditional developing methods the controller is verified and validated by the road test. The developing period is long and the cost is expensive. Moreover, the road test can't be carried out before finishing the design and facture of the controller software and hardware, which can not meet the requirement of parallel design. So in this paper the HILS developing method is used in the design and validation of integrative controller of PSHEV. The research results indicate: the design scheme of parallel series and control system and control strategy are correct and feasible. The developed integrative controller can realize the function of power management and integrative control and the performance is good. The design and validation work is simpler and easier to implement by using the HILS method and the research and development efficiency is encouraged. The research results are practical and significant for the design and rapid development of PSHEV integrative controller.
