Abstract
The development of efficient multicomponent catalysts with high intrinsic catalytic activity is a critical challenge for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Herein, an efficient Pd-Ni-Fe HER catalyst is designed by using high-throughput bubble screening method. The Pd63Ni16Fe21 catalyst shows excellent HER performance in 0.5 M H2SO4 solution, which is preferable to the other Pd-based catalysts. The outstanding catalytic activity is attributed to the optimized alloy composition. The results demonstrate that high-throughput bubble screening is an effective method to discover multicomponent alloys with superior HER performance experimentally.
