Abstract
Thus, it follows from our analysis of the effect of the quantity and quality of lime on the sintering process that the effectiveness of using lime in sinter production is determined by the content of active CaO in the sintering machine charge, regardless of the content of active CaO in the lime itself. Thus, the content of active CaO in sintering lime should be established with regard first of all for the economics of obtaining active CaO in lime and indices of its activity.
