Abstract

By using the multilevel deposition technique and Ar ion beam milling, we have fabricated YBaCuO epitaxial edge junctions and dc SQUIDs with PrBaCuO buffer layer. The dc and ac Josephson effects have been observed at 77 K. The intrinsic energy resolution for the SQUID was found to be 8*10−29 J/Hz at 100 Hz at liquid nitrogen temperature.KeywordsLiquid Nitrogen TemperatureQuantum Interference EffectSuperconductive LoopEdge JunctionIntrinsic Energy ResolutionThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
