Abstract

The ejected-electron spectrum of lead vapour in the range 0-12.5 eV has been observed at 65 degrees with respect to an incident electron beam of kinetic energy 20-400 eV. A total of 207 lines are reported correspondingly to excitation of both Pb I and Pb II autoionising levels. The results are compared with data from absorption measurements, arc spectra and theoretical calculations.
