Abstract

Subsalt oil and gas reservoirs are mainly distributed in the Gulf of Mexico, West African Coastal Basin, and Caspian Basin abroad. In western China, they are mainly distributed in the Tarim Basin, Sichuan Basin, Ordos Basin and other regions, which have huge resource potential. However, due to the influence of igneous salt rocks, gypsum salt rock, conglomerates and other special lithology, exploration is difficult. The gypsum salt rock is very developed in the marine strata in China, such as the Middle Cambrian in the Tarim Basin, the Ordovician Majia Gou Formation in the Ordos Basin and Triassic Jialingjiang Formationm and Leikoupo Formation in Sichuan Basin. Based on the wide-azimuth seismic data, this paper has carried out multi-information constrained seismic velocity modeling technology, grid tomography optimization technology, flattening technology of subsalt structure, TTI anisotropic prestack depth migration technology, and recovered well. The influence of gypsum-salt rock on the deformation of the underlying strata, the structural morphology of the sub-salt carbonate rock has been restored, the imaging quality has been significantly improved, and the well-seismic coincidence is higher, providing high-fidelity data for the exploration and development of sub-salt oil and gas reservoirs.
